Why An Urban Ground School? We created the Urban Ground School in order to facilitate what, at times, can tend to be a rather tedious time frame associated with undertaking the Transport Canada curriculuum. It’s not so much that we don’t want to be there for the fun and excitement of a great ground school lecture. Rather it tends to be related to the distance you have to travel to an airport in order to access the information. Hence, the Urban Ground School. Ours is located in North Vancouver at 1410 Marine Drive, on the second floor of a two story building which is right across the road from…what else…a Tim Horton’s donut shop. The Ground School can be accessed at any time during the "cycle" of subjects being taught. Do it now and sign up for the time of your life. At present we have over 25 students attending this Private Pilot programme. For the most part, you can manage your busy work a day world, slip on home for a refreshing break, something to eat and still make it to the 6:55 p.m. start by driving a mere 10 minutes or so depending on your location in the city. All of the students in attendance agree that the ease and practicality of accessing the school has made the world of difference in their pursuit of their PPL. We have a great environment, bright surroundings and it is literally a minute or so away from the north end of the Lions Gate bridge. $599.00 + GST Includes : Texts for Flight Training, Navigation Tools, Aviation Charts, Study Guide, Downloads, A Full 65 Hour Transport Canada Approved Ground School and a guaranteed pass on the Written Examinations for whatever it is you want to accomplish!
