...to all of the students who are completing their Solo short and Long Cross country flights during this great summer weather pattern.  Our trip from CYPK to Sechelt to Powell River to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island and back through Vancouver Harbour Air Space is a true test of your Navigation and Aviation Abilities.  Congratulations.

...to Mr. John Seminerio on the solo fight of a life time.  John put it all together on a bright, sunny morning and followed through on his instructions in order to complete a perfect solo flight complete with a landing that will allow us to use the plane again...yahoooo John and great having you here at the school.

...to Christian, Will and Ivan on the successful completion of their Commercial Pilot's Flight Test with the pilot examiner.  An absolutely incredible score achieved by all three of these Aviators.  Examinations written, Flight tests completed and time building in hand, these three will be off and into the wild blue yonder at the next job offering.  Once again congralations on a super job.

...to Doug Robertson on the first solo around the patch at CYPK.  "It really is the place to train"...says Doug, one of the busiest guys in the universe.  We're already into the full hour of solo work now and the weather is promising to hold.  Congratulations Doug.

...to Peter Kwasniewski on the IFR Renewal under real conditions in the Seneca 200T.  A great team, Kwasniewski and Piper and a flight that will qualify him to continue teaching others his many skills in the cockpit of an IFR Machine.  Great effor Piotr and congratulations on the work you are doing for us at Pacific Rim Aviation Academy Inc.

...Ruona Asplund!  Ruona Asplund!  Yes!  This wonderful woman aviatrix would make Amelia's heart pound with excitement as she took to the air in Cessna 172 GREI and knocked off her first solo flight.  An excellent take off, circuit and a landing that will be remembered in the annals of Pacific Rim Aviation Academy's halls for a long time to come.  Yahoo for this 68 year old pilot.  Proving that nothing is impossible.  Absolutely nothing!  Konich and congratulations Ruona.  You are so deserving of all that flight will bring to you.  Congratulations. 

...PSTAR's And Radio Operator's licences all over the map with John, Ruona, Kristi, Char and the Kim's.  A great month of flying in July and a better one coming up in August, 2010.  Keep the faith people...the weather is where it's at.

...to Paolo Gigliotti on the Completion of his Class 4 Instructor Rating.  A home grown Pilot, Paolo did his PPL, his CPL, his Multi Engine Rating and his Instructor Rating here with us at Pacific Rim Aviation Academy.  And now...He is Instructing here.  First Student flies with Paolo on August 4, 2010.  Congrats Paolo!!!!

...to J.B. Leveque, our superstar Instructor from Lyons France, on the attainment of his Class 3 Instructor Rating.  J.B. has won the hearts and minds of his student and colleagues alike and continues to amaze us with his superlative teaching abilities.
